Angelina Jolie Meets Syria’s Lost Children

Recently, actress Angelina Jolie traveled to Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley as a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) Special Envoy. While there, she met 11 year old Hala and her five siblings who arrived as orphans from Syria’s war.

The six children witnessed their mother’s death and the destruction of their home. Now, they struggle to support themselves on their own in the refugee camp.
