The ongoing conflict in Syria has given birth to the largest humanitarian crisis of the 21st century. Sparked by the Arab Spring of 2011, the Syrian conflict is now a full-blown civil war where numerous participants vie for overlapping and conflicting interests. But there is only one victim in the war, and that is the Syrian people. Listen to one young woman’s harrowing account of how her family escaped the conflict.
