A nurse turned into a guardian angel for one of her patients and his family when they were rendered homeless in the middle of his treatment.

Cynthia, an oncology nurse, approached the Fox 5 Surprise Squad and asked them to help Basil, her teenage patient, and his family. United Nissan Sponsors, one of Fox 5’s partners, was touched by the story and offered the family a new home to live in for one year. Emotions overflowed as the family walked into the beautiful house, which was fully furnished and ready to move into.

Offering a house is not the only way to those who have been dealt a bad hand by life. The smallest of gestures can go a long way in helping the homeless, as this guy has shown.
