Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez Donated A Year’s Worth Of School Lunches After Hearing Teacher’s Plea
We already loved Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez as a couple, but now we have even more reason to love them. The power couple donated a year’s worth of meals from their new food line to a Tennessee elementary school.
Their affordable line of healthy meals, called Tiller & Hatch Supply Co., is meant to be “flavorful, nutritious and budget-friendly,” according to the press release. They even donate a portion of the proceeds from all sales to different shelters and charities helping to fight hunger.
It all started with a teacher’s post on Facebook.

Goins later updated the post after it went viral to say that her school was starting a food pantry for students in need.
Jennifer and Alex heard about the story and stepped up to the plate. In a video posted to Jennifer’s Instagram, the two can be seen chatting with Goins and her students before surprising them with a year’s worth of meals.
“We are happy to be in business with partners who also believe no child should EVER have to go to sleep hungry. Everyone should have access to delicious, nutritious food,” she wrote. “This was my favorite moment of the month and it’s one of the best things we’ve been able to do.”
